Leadership
Alba Vergara Salvetti
Alba Vergara Salvetti is the founder of Lumina Communications Inc. She has over 20 years of experience in Corporate Communications and PR. She loves to help organizations improving their communications with key stakeholders.
Alba has worked with multinational companies and PR agencies in the U.S. focusing on the Latin America & the U.S. Hispanic markets.
For over a decade, Alba has helped Johnson & Johnson Latin America create and implement regional communications programs for Medical Devices & Diagnostics, Janssen, Global Community Impact (GCI), and Global Public Health (GPH).
She has managed town halls, regional webcasts, internal marketing campaigns, and employee engagement programs with videos, animations, blogs, e-mail marketing pieces in English, Spanish & Portuguese.
Previously, Alba led multicultural and multidisciplinary campaigns at Burson-Marsteller for healthcare clients (GlaxoSmithKline, Allergan, and Merck), and technology clients (AT&T, Nextel and QUALCOMM). Her work focused primarily on stakeholder relations, issues management, media relations, and marketing communications for the Latin American and U.S. Hispanic markets.
Alba holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Universidad Iberoamericana, and is pursuing a master's in Digital Strategy with the University of Florida.
She is fluent in English and Spanish.
